Conflict of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that could influence the preparation, evaluation, or publication of a manuscript. Conflicts may arise from financial interests, professional relationships, institutional affiliations, research collaborations, personal relationships, or other competing interests. The editorial team shall assess disclosed conflicts and take reasonable measures to protect the integrity and impartiality of the publication process, including assigning a different editor or reviewer when appropriate. The existence of a disclosed conflict does not automatically require rejection; each case must be evaluated according to its circumstances.
Post-Publication Discussions and Corrections
Pranata Hukum encourages responsible scholarly discussion concerning articles published in the journal. Readers who identify substantive errors, inaccuracies, or concerns about a published article may submit a reasoned communication to the editorial team, supported by relevant evidence where appropriate.
The editorial team will assess the relevance, academic merit, and supporting evidence of each submission. Where appropriate, the authors of the original article may be invited to respond. Any discussion, correction, or response considered for publication will be subject to editorial evaluation and must comply with the journal's publication ethics requirements.
When a published article contains a material error or is found to involve research or publication misconduct, the journal may publish a correction, expression of concern, or retraction, depending on the circumstances. Any action taken should be proportionate to the issue and communicated clearly to readers.
Publisher's Responsibility
The publisher and journal management support the editorial team in maintaining ethical publishing standards and protecting the integrity of the scholarly record. Editorial decisions should remain based on academic merit and ethical considerations. The journal will make reasonable efforts to address substantiated concerns about publication misconduct and to ensure that appropriate corrections are made when necessary.
